VOYAGER 1's historic journey
November 18, 2026, Humanity fully arrives in the InterStelar Age. On this day, the Voyager 1 probe reaches distances over
1 Light Day away from Earth. This means that communication signals, traveling at the speed of light, will take a more than
24 hours each way to arrive. Voyager 1 then becomes the first Human object beyond 1 Light Day away from Earth. It a new milestone for Humanity!
Launched in 1977 with an expected mission length of 5 years, The Voyager probes provided the best images & information about the outer planets Humanity had ever seen.
Now almost 50 years later, it continues to provide new data on Inter Stellar Space.
Created in an age before the personal computer and smart phone, between 1972 ~1977, its said the average car key fab has equivilent computing power!
All designs & calculations were done by hand & slide ruler.
This November, we transition into next phase of our Inter Stellar Age
This achievement is only possible because of Human intellect and imagination: our Human ability to dream up an idea never done before
and problem solve our way to implementation.
Our creations expand our sense perceptions, awareness & knowledge.
This is an inner shift as well as an outer one.
As we evolve beyond past limitations, I celebrate Humanity optimistically.
Yes, there are problems that we Humans face, but solutions abound when we cooperate.
Light Year calander, counting our years in Inter Stellar Space, is my open invitation for all to relate in a welcoming structure for Humanity to join in Kindness for the benefit of all that be.
